Using the forum
Registering
First-time users must follow these steps:
1. Begin by clicking on the "Register" link at the top of the forum.
2. Fill in the information in the form that appears. (Don't forget to click on the "I agree" box beneath the terms of registration!)
You're all set to start using the message board! Introduce yourself by posting in the first forum, "Introduce yourself", in the "Getting to know you" category.
You can edit your name, e-mail, password and other personal information by clicking on "My Controls" at the top of the page once you are logged in.
Posting
Click on the name of the forum (subject, ex. "Introduce yourself", "Current events" or "Websites") that you want to post your message in.
Once you have clicked on it, the list of topics in that forum will appear. You can click on any topic that you want to read. If you want to reply, click on the "Add Reply" icon above and below the message. (An easier and faster method is clicking on "Fast Reply" instead.)
If you want to start a new topic, click on the "New Topic" icon. You must enter the title of the topic in the "Topic Settings" section, and your message in the "Enter your Post" section. You can choose to add emoticons (smiley faces) in your message by clicking on them, as well as an icon that will appear beside the title of your topic (Post Icons). Click on "Post New Topic" to post your message.
