Vipassana is a meditation technique involving two stages. The first stage comprises of concentrating on one's own breath while the second stage involves developing a state of mental equanimity by observing different parts of the physical body. This meditation session is well suited for those who have already done a Vipassana retreat or those who have had a background in this kind of meditation. Please read the following page for more information: https://www.dhamma.org/en-US/about/vipassana
Very little or no instruction will be provided during the one hour session which will start in silence and end in silence. If u have questions about the technique please feel free to contact me or come 15 minutes prior to the start of the session. About me: I am a 3rd year undergraduate student at McGill. My academic interests lie in the intersection of science, philosophy, and spiritual practice. I am also a Yoga teacher and a regular meditator.
