2024 Benefit Dinner

​The holidays can be a time for joyful celebrations. For isolated members of our community, whose families may live far away or who do not have the financial means to celebrate, the holiday season can also be lonely and isolating. With your help, we seek to spread a little joy and happiness during the month of December by bringing the YD community together in celebration. 
Dec 4th – Holiday Concert 
A jazz trio from La Sams will perform a 2-hour set of classic holiday music for our senior members. Transportation and/or volunteer support, will be provided for those with limited mobility. Refreshments + hot coffee/tea will be served.
Dec 12th – Holiday Meal Delivery 
Staff & volunteers will deliver a special holiday meal to the homes of seniors. An a homemade Italian dinner will be prepared by Nonna's Catering. Dessert from Sophie Sucrée will be a generous slice of spice cake, and we will include a small gift for each senior from Olsen + Olsen. This year we are proud to work with all Quebec owned businesses for this special delivery. ​
It is only because of your generous support that we have been able to brighten the holidays for isolated seniors in downtown Montreal each year for the past FIVE YEARS! Your contribution not only promises to bring holiday cheer but will also play a pivotal role in advancing our 2025 programming. By supporting the YD, you help keep all of our services free - allowing us to reach some of the most isolated and vulnerable members of our community.

The YD admin office is open Tuesday - Thursday (9:30am - 5pm) & Friday (9:30am - 3pm) - VISITORS ARE WELCOME! If you are looking to meet with a specific staff member it is recommended to call and make an appointment prior to visiting.
