READING GROUP
Check our wellness groups calendar for updated information about the time and location
Mindful listening and communication improvement are brought together in this wellness group that values respectful exchange and offers a comfortable place to share ideas and opinions about the featured piece. Using books, we address themes surrounding community and health. The group is a space for open discussions of literary themes and a place to meet someone new in your community!

Joining our Reading Group is not only an opportunity to discuss great literature, but many scientific studies have proved that being part of a book club causes people to live longer. The social interaction and intellectual stimulation can boost brain function, increasing life expectancy.

Want to know what next month's book will be before joining?

We acknowledge that The Yellow Door is situated on unceded Indigenous land, as it was taken without treaty or agreement. We recognize the Kanien’keha:ka Nation as the custodians of Tiohtia:ke (Montreal), a traditional meeting place with other Iroquoians and Algonquians, including the Algonquin-Anishinaabe, Atikamekw and the Huron-Wendat. We stand in solidarity and in action in supporting the journey towards reconciliation.
