INTERGENERATIONAL WELLNESS GROUP
TEA SESSIONS
PicturePhoto credit: K. Slomski

Tea is one of the most popular beverages in the world. For millennia, people have enjoyed its taste and medicinal properties. Beyond its ability to awaken and relax, tea has a way of bringing people together. By taking a moment to reflect with this sagely plant, we can connect with our authentic selves and appreciate our humanity.

Our Gong-Fu inspired, meditative tea sessions at YD offer a space for personal and inter-subjective exploration and discovery.

We acknowledge that The Yellow Door is situated on unceded Indigenous land, as it was taken without treaty or agreement. We recognize the Kanien’keha:ka Nation as the custodians of Tiohtia:ke (Montreal), a traditional meeting place with other Iroquoians and Algonquians, including the Algonquin-Anishinaabe, Atikamekw and the Huron-Wendat. We stand in solidarity and in action in supporting the journey towards reconciliation.
