INTERGENERATIONAL WELLNESS GROUP
WOODCARVING
PicturePhoto credit: K. Slomski

Feeling stressed at the end of a long week? Take two hours to slow down, relax and explore the art of woodcarving. Open to all ages and skill levels, the workshop aims to familiarize participants with the various tools and techniques so that they can complete their own simple projects.

Participants can work on prepared exercises designed to improve their skills or are encouraged to try out their own ideas and designs. Create something with your hands while your stress disappears into a pile of wood chips.

No materials, tools or experience required.

See the calendar for the schedule.

We acknowledge that The Yellow Door is situated on unceded Indigenous land, as it was taken without treaty or agreement. We recognize the Kanien’keha:ka Nation as the custodians of Tiohtia:ke (Montreal), a traditional meeting place with other Iroquoians and Algonquians, including the Algonquin-Anishinaabe, Atikamekw and the Huron-Wendat. We stand in solidarity and in action in supporting the journey towards reconciliation.
